How to Clean a Bathroom Fast

Sometimes you don't have an hour to spend on the bathroom. You've got guests coming over, the kids are about to get home, or you've just run out of time. Here's how I clean a bathroom quickly — without cutting corners on the important stuff.
Get everything ready before you start
Don't waste time walking back and forth for products. Bring everything you need into the bathroom before you begin — spray cleaner, toilet cleaner, glass cleaner, cloths, and a mop or floor wipes.
Start at the top, work down
Always clean from high to low. Wipe the top of the mirror cabinet, light fittings, and door frames first. Any dust falls to the floor and gets picked up when you mop — not after you've already done it.
Spray and leave
Spray the toilet, sink, and shower or bath before you do anything else. Let the cleaner sit while you do other things. It's doing the work for you.
Toilet, then sink, then shower or bath
Put toilet cleaner under the rim and let it sit. Then clean the sink and taps, then the shower or bath. Pay attention to limescale around the taps and showerhead — that's what makes a bathroom look dirty even when everything else is clean.
Finish with the floor
Sweep or vacuum first, then mop. Don't walk on it until it's dry. If you follow this order, you should be able to clean a bathroom thoroughly in 15 to 20 minutes.
