How to Get the Most Out of Your Cleaning Visit

Booking a cleaner is a great step — but there are a few things you can do beforehand that make a real difference to what I can achieve in the time.
Tidy before I arrive
I'm a cleaner, not a declutterer. If surfaces are covered in paperwork, toys, or clothes, I spend time moving things rather than cleaning underneath them. The more clear surfaces I have, the deeper I can clean. This doesn't mean your home needs to be spotless before I arrive — that's my job. But a quick pick-up beforehand means I can focus on the actual cleaning.
Tell me what matters most to you
Every home is different, and every client has different priorities. Some people care most about the kitchen. Others want the bathrooms perfect. Some have pets and need extra attention on floors and sofas. Tell me what matters most and I'll make sure those areas get the most attention.
Make sure I can access everything
If you're not home, make sure I have access to the property and that any areas you want cleaned are unlocked or accessible. A locked room I can't get into is time I can't use for you.
Give feedback
If there's something you'd like done differently, tell me. I'd rather adjust and get it right than have you silently unhappy. Most of my clients have been with me for years because we've built that honest working relationship. The better we communicate, the better the results — every time.
